My art cards are made from photos of my orginal art quilts and are a unique way to send greetings to friends and family. Photos are backed with batting and then stitched to the card-blending the worlds between fiber and photography.
Each card is made by hand and using different card stock as the base. If you have a preference to the color of card base you would like me to use for your card, please mention it in the 'comments' section when you order. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to message me prior to your order.
About the Quilted Work: "Dent Bridge and Prairie View"
I found this small homestead when Bob and I decided to 'take the long way home' after a relative's memorial service. It seemed only fitting to take a little extra time to wander through the past. While I don't know the personal history of this home, I loved spending a moment standing in front of it imagining the lives of those who once lived within these walls.
